"Excellent value, now my favorite guitar"

Feature:
I ordered the package that came with a case, tuner, strings, etc. The case is pretty inferior, to be blunt. I believe flimsy is the word I'm looking for. In addition, the case is too big for the guitar, leading to a lot of movement and shifting when carrying the case around. I'd trust a well padded gig bag more. This nice guitar deserves better protection. The tuner was on the chintzy side, too. It was so indecisive I had to go out and buy a decent one. I regret buying the package, should have just bought the guitar and got the accesories seperately. As for the quality of materials used for the guitar itself, I couldn't be more pleased.

Quality:
I think the appearance of the guitar is beatiful. Mine is the color of dark honey with gorgeous figuring. The wood is matched beautifully front and back. The rosette isn't much to look at. Since I don't use a pick, I peeled off the pickguard and the guitar looks way better. I don't think black was the best choice on an almost-orange guitar. So far the guitar seems to be pretty sturdy. It survived a trip from New Jersey to Missouri in it's ill-fitting case, after all.

Value:
This guitar is well worth the price. I haven't heard such good tone in such an inexpensive guitar before. It certainly looks and sounds like a far more expensive instrument. People are always very interested in asking about the mountain ash wood. Most everyone says they haven't seen one like it before. Several people have asked if I paid 'big bucks' for it. The good sound and unusual look is very striking, the thing definitely has presence.

Desirability:
This guitar caught my eye because of the unusual tone woods and finish. I have a cedar topped and sitka spruce topped guitars, and wanted to try it out. The price is so reasonable, why not? I'm glad I bought it, I really like it and play it all the time. It's good quality in an inexpensive guitar.

Sound:
I really love the tone of this guitar. I play fingerstyle, and it has a good balance between bass and treble. The tone seems sort of 'mellow' to me as opposed to sharp, but this is just the sound I'm looking for. Reminds me of a cedar top, sound-wise. I tend to pick this guitar up and play it often, neglecting my more expensive guitars. It has good intonation. Whether I'm playing as loud as I can at a barbeque, or softly as my kids are asleep, it retains it's tune and sweet sound.

Overall:
I already own 2 other guitars in addition to this one. I will keep this guitar until I wear it out, and hopefully buy another just like it. It suits my style (fingerstyle, classical [yes, I play classical on a steel string - sounds marvelous!] Clapton, Chet Atkins, etc.)

"i like this guitar..."

Feature:
as always, the B machine head slips a bit. but then, i've got four guitars, and they ALL do that. no big deal

Quality:
My dad bought me a hardcase for it, 'cos hte guitar was just to pretty to spoil, but it really doesn't need it - this guitar may well be indestructible. i take this guitar to folk sessions, parties, everywhere.
