Feature:
...
Quality:
the grill is strong and the wood, corners and stackers are certainly a lot more durable than hartke, or other cabinets ive used in the past.
Value:
i would suggest buying it and holding on to it because they obviously didnt make to many of these, i think they will go up in value.
Desirability:
yea its not bland the maroon wood front under the griil gives it a little more something, the other ampegs dont have in their boring all black design...
Sound:
Superb low end and note clarity and very war, i play upright bass through it and its superb for the price.
Ease of Use:
i havent had a problem ive used it on nearly 100 gigs, and its always been consistant and reliable, heavy but then again its not going to fall apart, and those hollow stages dont seem to affect it that often.
Support:
nope never needed any repairs.
Overall:
well it all depends on the guitar amp, if their to loud us bass players gotta compete or be beat, so thats hard to say..

Feature:
The tone control on the rear is a superb addition. I haven't used the stackable corners or the propping bar on the bottom either, but the spring loaded hinges work well. And I like having a Speak-on jack.
Quality:
Very durable enclosure & metal grille make a sold cabinet.
Value:
Great value for the sound. As with my SVT-3 Pro head, the current selling price for the BXT-410HL-4 cabinet is now higher than what I paid a year ago.
Desirability:
In a ddition to my Ampeg (BXT-410HL-4 cabinet & SVT-3 Pro head), I own a Fender BXR 60 practice amp, I play through a Peavey TNT 115 at my church, I've played through a SWR 4 speaker amp system & I used to own a giant Kustom amp with a 18" folded horn cabinet. Nothing beats my Ampeg.
Sound:
Great resonance without distortion in most venues. Once, when playing in a large indoor coloseum, I pushed it to some distortion just too see where it could occur. I was jacked into the house, so I didn't have to play it that loud anyway, but it took quite a push to get it there.
Support:
No problems with the cabinet, so far. But I do wish that it was easier to find a speaker cover for this unit.
Overall:
I'm currently checking out the new Ampeg Porta bass amps to have something lighter to carry for most engagemnets. But I plan to keep my main system, as well.
