Fishman Ellipse Aura Onboard Imaging System Pickup

The Ellipse Aura, already a major hit as factory equipment in new C.F. Martin models, is now available to everyone. The Ellipse Aura combines Fishman's most sophisticated onboard preamp with the power of the company's patented Acoustic Imaging Technology for accurate, true-to-life sound when amplifying acoustic guitars.

A total of four Aura Images can be downloaded into the Ellipse Aura from Fishman's website by using the Image Gallery sofware (included) via an onboard mini-USB port so that players can accurately match the Image to the instrument's natural tonal characteristics. This allows for a realistic, miked-up sound for Fishman's Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup.

The Ellipse Aura preamp's tone-shaping capability includes Pickup/Image Blend, Volume and switchable Natural I and Natural II low-frequency tone shaping. Feedback is controlled by a Phase Switch and an Automatic Anti-Feedback feature.

The preamp's ergonomic soundhole-mounted design puts slider controls at the player's fingertips to maintain a natural playing position. A patented neodymium magnetic mounting system enables solder-free installation with a variety of size formats that accommodate most round soundholes from 3 7/8 in. (98 mm) to 4 1/8 in. (105 mm) in diameter.

The Ellipse Aura includes a solder-free installtion and is equipped with the Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup in either narrow, wide or narrow/split saddle formats.
